Parent's Center

Some questions we have been asked are...

  • Is the group fully insured?

Yes the group is fully insured.

  • Do the people in charge have any relevant qualifications or experience?

All involved have experience with children should it be their own or children they have minded. One of our members is also currently undertaking a first aid course.

  • Are there guidelines for adults and children attending the group to follow, ensuring a safe, and happy play experience for all?

All children will be supervised during play.

  • Are you expected to go on a helpers’ rota for setting up and tidying away.

We would appreciate if new members would volunteer for the tea rota and we would appreciate any help in tidying up at the end of the session.

  • Do you have to commit to paying and attending for a term in advance?

No. As it is a drop in group you only pay when you attend.

Our aim at Keady parent and toddler group is to give parents and child-minders the chance to let their children indulge in messy activities that they enjoy so much. The toys available may be a welcome change to that which is available at home and the company of other kids the same age as your little one may just to the experience.

“My son loves coming to his toddler group on a Friday morning. From the second he runs through the door he never quits. He can socialise with children the same age as him. It helps with his social interaction skills and I feel that it will prepare him for primary school. ”
